Midnight Meat Train Movie Review, Poster, Trailer
Ok, so its time for the review I've been waiting to do for months. Course, I saw this in December and waited till officially came out to do the review. This movie was based on a Clive Barker short story and stars Vinny Jones as a butcher. In fact The film was directed by Japanese director Ryuhei Kitamura and stars Bradley Cooper, Leslie Bibb, Vinnie Jones and Brooke Shields. And I must say. Bradley Cooper does a great job in this movie as a photographer who is looking to score his niche in his career. With advice from Brooke Shields character he decides to capture the worst part of the city. During this he begins to plot together what he believes is a murder mystery complete with Vinny Jones butchering the hell out of some folks on the 2am subway train. Now, I will say this. To me this is one of the slickest, coolest looking horror movies in a long time. And Vinny Jones is great as the butcher. This movie is off the charts on gore and their are some scenes including Vinny knocking the eyes balls out of a guy and knocking a girls head off literally and her eye blinking at you. Even though its laying ten feet from her body. Great stuff buys. Now, this movie had all kinds of release problems. But, when you consider shit like Saw V gets a wide release this movie deserved a major theater release. Sadly, it never got it. This is easily Clive Barker's best adaptation not named Hellraiser. If you want a very cool movie experience, and some serious original horror and gore. Meat Train will make you happy. I wasn't very thrilled with the ending but, hey. What can you expect. I give this movie 4.5 out of 5 axes. Great Horror Movie.
