Michael Pena and Djimon Hounsou have joined the demonic possession drama "The Vatican Tapes" at Lakeshore Entertainment and Lionsgate.
The story surrounds a 27-year-old woman (Olivia Dudley) who begins to have a devastating effect on anyone who gets close to her.
Pena will play a priest who believes she is possessed, while Hounsou plays a Vatican official called in to exorcise the demon.
Dougray Scott, Kathleen Robertson, Peter Andersson, Olivia Dudley, John Patrick Amedori and Alex Sparrow also star.
Mark Neveldine ("Crank," "Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance") will helm the project from a script by Christopher Borrelli that Neveldine and Michael C. Martin revised.
