While there is nothing new in horror opening this week I will still give you a update on box office for Friday. Hannah Montana opened to a big $17.4 million as the kiddies came out. Blah. The Fast and Furious looks to have a pretty large 2nd weekend in position at number 2 adding another $10.9 million and raising its total to $99 million in the US. And a monster $130 million worldwide. The scifi thriller The Knowing raked in another $2.3 million on Friday and raising its take to $63 million. Along with the $25 million its grabbed internationally its now nailed $88 million dollars. The Haunting in Connecticut held its ground with $2.3 million raising its total to $42.9 million which is highly respectable for a horror flick. Also Taken with broke the $140 million dollar mark in one of the biggest hits of the year.
